Lamar University’s head coach Ray Woodward catches up with the SportzPod team to discuss his current success as a Div 1A coach. Coach Woodward sheds light on how education has played a vital role through his journey in sports. Ray is one of only six Division 1A head coaches to receive his doctorate degree at the time. He joined a select group of Division I coaches with doctorates. Coach Woodard was also hired by Lamar to revitalize it’s new football program in 2008.
